Music

I shall post here from time to time recordings of the voluntary choir of St Giles in the Fields.  These are made by my friend and fellow bass David Garner.

We are conducted, and often accompanied, by the Director of Music, the wonderful Jonathan Bunney.  The choir welcomes new members, so if you want to audition, send me an email (dsmyth[at]ipalchemist.com) and I will put you in touch with Jonathan.

I sing there most Sundays, and you can hear us there every Sunday evening at 6.30pm, as well as some other days through the year.

Here is a picture of us singing at the St Giles Fayre on 1 September 2012.  It’s not very flattering, but that’s how you know it is real.

The Choir sings “O I do like to be beside the seaside”

I have several singing friends, and enjoy going to watch them perform as well.
